Delayed to July 22 and 23 in case of rain.

The Société de reconstitution du Bas-Canada accurately recreates the troubling events of the Patriots’ Rebellion of 1837 and 1838. Whether you’re a history lover or a newbie, attend this extraordinary event that lets us tell our story to the general public, to experience it and better understand it.

Witness the exchange of gunfire between the patriots – hidden behind the trees and houses of the Village – and the British soldiers dressed in their formal red uniforms, advancing in a band through the streets. Although it is a re-enactment, the noise and white powder emitted by the rifle shots make us believe it’s a real battle. The tension between the two sides is palpable.
