Getting to the village

You must exit Highway 20 at exit 181. Visit the “How to get there” section for more information on how to get to the Village.

Your visit

Unfortunately, the Village Québécois d’Antan is not adapted for people with reduced mobility. You can get around the site in a wheelchair, but the period houses are not easily accessible as they are not equipped with ramps. In addition, most of the buildings have stairs in front of the entrance door. Moreover, it should be noted that the streets of the Village are made of dirt, making it more difficult to get around the site on rainy days.

The Village Québécois d’Antan accepts Companion Leisure Cards and grants free admission to the accompanying person of a person aged 12 years or older with a disability or mental health problem. We also offer a four-wheel electric scooter ($) rental service. Please note that this service is offered during the summer season only (July and August, daytime only). Also, considering the limited number of scooters available, we suggest that you reserve one in advance by contacting us at 1 877 710-0267, ext. 221.

Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited on the grounds of the Village Québécois d’Antan. This rule applies to both tobacco and cannabis. Smoking and vaping are permitted at a distance of at least nine meters from the Village’s site. The use of cannabis is, however, always prohibited on all Village grounds.

No, parking is free. The Village has six parking lots with a total of approximately 1,000 spaces.

For the safety of our visitors, pets are not allowed on the Village Québécois d’Antan premises. We do, however, accept all service dogs. The owner must present their dog’s ID card to prove that their animal has received appropriate training. This card includes the name of the training school, the owner’s name, and a picture of the dog.

Of course, you can! Picnic areas have been set up throughout the site. You can also add a little extra to your lunch with products available in our shops.

Reservation

We no longer have a free day for Drummondville residents, but we now offer them a 50% discount on daytime summer experience tickets on the first opening weekend(not applicable to other activities in other seasons and Village parallèle).

If you are a resident and you wish to take advantage of your discount, you must go to the ticket office with an identity document and proof of residence (the driver’s license covers both proofs).

This offer is only valid for residents of the city of Drummondville.

The season pass is valid throughout the summer (June to September) according to the Village’s schedule except for the Fondation Sainte-Croix/Hériot Family Day. The season pass does not include admission for other seasons; it is valid during the daytime summer experience season only.

The ticket office and all of our shops and stores accept cash, debit cards (Interac direct payment), and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and American Express).

When you have a Shopico, Tuango, Cargo, Quebec Attraction, or any other type of similar ticket, you do not need to reserve your visit date; you are guaranteed to be able to enter our site without any inconvenience.

The family rate is for 2 adults and 2 children.

Reservations are not mandatory to visit the Village in the summer season. However, it is strongly recommended to reserve online for fall, winter and spring activities.
