What is the duration of the visit?

The Village takes about 3 hours to visit on average, but most visitors spend the entire day on the site to get the most out of this tourist attraction. The amount of time you spend in the Village will vary according to how quickly you move around and how much you enjoy the historical and interactive content.

Is the site accessible to people with reduced mobility?

Unfortunately, the Village Québécois d’Antan is not adapted for people with reduced mobility. You can get around the site in a wheelchair, but the period houses are not easily accessible as they are not equipped with ramps. Is smoking allowed on the premises?

Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited on the grounds of the Village Québécois d’Antan. This rule applies to both tobacco and cannabis. Smoking and vaping are permitted at a distance of at least nine meters from the Village’s site. The use of cannabis is, however, always prohibited on all Village grounds.

Is there a parking fee?

No, parking is free. The Village has six parking lots with a total of approximately 1,000 spaces.

Are dogs allowed on the site?

For the safety of our visitors, pets are not allowed on the Village Québécois d’Antan premises. We do, however, accept all service dogs. Can I bring my own lunch?

Of course, you can! Picnic areas have been set up throughout the site. You can also add a little extra to your lunch with products available in our shops.
